Magistrate: did you assume work as a person employed by Chipata Water Trust Company?

Mwanza: Yes.

Magistrate: What did you do?

Mwanza: I reconnected water at the houses of two complainants but failed to do the same for the remaining four.

Mwanza pleaded for mercy from the court saying he is unwell and his children will suffer if jailed.

He asked the court to forgive him because he has learned a lesson from his bad actions.

Magistrate Kaoma said Mwanza knew he was unwell and therefore should not have involved himself criminal acts. The court jailed Mwanza 18 months imprisonment with hard labor for all the counts
