AFTER having gone on a consecutive six-game winning rampage, inform Power Dynamos could only settle for a draw when they faced Green Buffaloes in their week 16 fixture played at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka yesterday.
Prior to the game, Power had gone on a winning surge which had also seen the Kitwe side beat Zanaco, NAPSA and further humiliate rivals Nkana FC.
Power was the favorite side going into that game owing it to their run in their last six games while their opponents had a troubled season.
The Kitwe- side lived up to their favourite tag as they started the game on high pressing which saw the side create numerous chances that could however not be converted into goals .
Buffaloes were on the receiving end from the high pressing Power that enjoyed the game despite not converting their chances much to the disappointment of the faithful fans that packed the stands.
Power coach Perry Mutapa used his newly sginee Biston Banda who replaced Fred Mulambia in the second half while Kennedy Musonda was played in place of Larry Bwalya.
The new acquisition could however not change the complexion of the game as the two teams settled for a draw after 90 minutes of play.
The game against Buffaloes was Coach Mutapa’s first draw after having gone on a six game winning streak since his arrival at Power last December.
The draw maintained Power’s seventh position on the log with 23 points having played 14 games and is a point better than their opponents Buffaloes who are on 8th position.
